A. Stand your ground.
B. Lead your tanks out.
This is not an exercise; it is a test of courage, determination, and persistence. There are no second attempts. You only have this one chance to complete the task.
Now is not the time for panic. Should you feel the urge to stop, cry, or run away, just remember that the world may be watching. Take a deep breath and use the time to examine the obstacle that lies before you. Prepare yourself mentally. Your choice may change your life and everyone around as well.
For A, you may feel outnumbered. Although this may be the case, do not fret. This is in fact, your strength. Use it to your advantage. They dare not take your life; if they do, they are but cowards, killing an ant with a gun. They are trying to strip you of your dignity, cutting away at the pieces of your pride and clothing. Hold still and let them come at you. You may be down to your last strips of cover, but you must hold still. Allow yourself to be exposed. Stun the world with your naked dignity.
For B, remember that although there is strength in numbers, there is also disgrace in oppression. Do not hide behind your façade of power. After a day of massacre, it may be tempting to continue to inflict civilian casualties, but bear in mind that this is not a war. Your so called enemies are not armed. In the behemoth armor, you will not die. Your life is not at risk, only your image. You must act on logic and not emotions. Be the model for those that stand behind you.
In each case, use caution. Let your adrenaline and morals guide you.
Oohh, very cool. I like how you incorporate Bruce Nauman's style into the Tiananmen Square clip. I think you have a knack for being able to bring together different elements very eloquently (possible idea for your portfolio?)
